Description
So, back in October 2013 I picked up the 44 new colors that Prismacolor added to their existing 156 color marker line, which I have had and used for years now. One of the things that makes my life easier is the fill-in-yourself color chart that Prismacolor has on their website here:
www.prismacolor.com/Style%20Liβ¦
I've printed this thing out on multiple sheets of the different paper stock I commonly use, It's easy to glance at this chart to see how the colors are going to look on a particular paper. So, when I got the new colors I went to the Prismacolor website to look for a updated version of the chart, nothing, still the old one, so for the past couple of months I've been checking back, once or twice a week with my fingers crossed. Still nothing. So I clicked on the "Ask Prismacolor" help box, about two days later I got a response saying "Here's the color chart we have" with a link to the old 156 color chart and a closing line to the effect of "at the current time we have no plans to make a updated color chart at this time" or what I read as " I'm sorry, we don't have a full-time graphic designer on staff" So after a little bit of bitching and moaning I decided to take the matter into my own hands, I took the old chart into Photoshop, erased what i didn't need, tried to match the old font as best I could and relabeled the sheet with the new color names and after a few hours this is the result, I've actually had this for a couple of weeks now and it's proven it's usefulness more than once, so I figured I would share it here with you fine folks!
Hope you enjoy!
(And maybe if I have some time in the future I'll throw together a full 200 color sheet)
[UPDATE] Fixed PM-51, It was listed as Violet Light and should have been Violet Dark. (Special thanks to DA user SchemeRFA for the catch!)
